The concept behind Tootoomoo was to serve delicious, fresh, and healthy food induced with flavours found in Asian street markets. ~ Chef Ricky Pang

In order to stand out and make its presence felt, an original yet inviting menu needed to be created, and I was chosen as the man for the job.”

The result: a menu that samples the best of East and South Asian cuisine. The idea was to take your favourite dishes and subtly reinvent them to create a unique dining experience.

This is not my first gig as a master chef; working for different companies and advising prime restaurants, I’ve been in the business for quite some time.

Yet my experience has led me to a very simple truth: “The best ingredients make for the best meals.” Fresh ingredients are essential to release the full flavour of a dish.

For me food is a passion and cooking an art. Each of my dishes reflect a harmony of flavours characteristic of their country of origin. What’s more, I try to abide by the Asian principle of attention to detail and form, so I let my imagination combine with my skill, resulting in meals that are not only exquisite in taste but are also a visual delight.

Although Tootoomoo is mostly about food, it is also about family, community, and sharing. So, if you would like to meet with me then do drop by to see us. I will soon be leading cookery classes as well so you will be able to sharpen your skills alongside me. And if you want to stay up to date with my activities then why not follow me on Twitter @RickyPangChef.

Whatever you do, I hope that together we can let our love of food bring us closer.
